Fruity Breakfast Ideas

The roots of education are bitter but the fruit is sweet - Aristotle

If you've woken up pondering on what to eat in the morning while trying to catch up with  your 9am meeting, then this post was specially crafted for you.  I have been in a situation where I showed up late to a meeting because I paid so much unwanted attention to the thought of " what am I gonna have for breakfast"? I would hate for you to repeat my mistake which is why I came up with this simple breakfast idea for an early morning person. Furthermore, I understand that some people do not necessarily have to wake up early. For those who fall under that classification, this idea would also help you to digest your daily fruit intake and keep your body healthy. Either way, everyone is happy.

Fruity Breakfast Ideas:

Ingredients: Banana smoothie/strawberry garnishing.
  • 1 cup of frozen bananas
  • 4 -5 Strawberries
  • Cube sliced strawberry for garnishing.

Banana:

Directions:
  • Toss the frozen bananas into a food processor or a blender and blend. Add the 1/4 glass water to speed up the process and prevent your processor from overheating.  Scoop the sides occasionally to get a smooth mixture.
    •  You can defrost the bananas if its too frozen, just to speed up the process.

Serving:

  • Cut the strawberries in a triangular form and place around a serving glass.

Notice how my glass has a red ball underneath. This was an intentional act to accentuate the strawberries.

  • Pour the blended bananas into the cup and enjoy!!!

Fruit Platter:

Fruity mornings get you so energetic and jaunty! I'm certain you would love to start off your morning feeling that way. This plate right here could contain the same calories as biscuits and sausage but the trick is to get you feeling ebullient.

With these platter, your favorite fruit should come to play. For mine, I used apples, oranges, nectarines, cherries, strawberries, banana and watermelon. I'm sure you can already tell how FRUITY i am.

BON APPETIT!
